Lightroom classic

My lightroom classic is not showing a preview or the picture, it is gray.

Also, many of us, including me, will not download attachments. Please include your attachment by clicking on the "Insert Photos" icon.

At least two possibilities:

and please use the Insert Photo button, instead of attaching images, Many members absolutely refuse to open attachments, it is a trust issue. (fourth button/icon from the right, looks like a landscape photo)
