My lightroom keeps on shutting down and crushing, this has never been an issue before. Can you tell me why this is happening...?

You'll need to provide more information. For example, what were you doing in LrC before the application crashed. Did a crash reporting dialog appear after the crash? If yes, then did you provided the information requested AND included your email* address?

 

* Ideally the same email as your Adobe account
