Lightroom closes when deleting iphone photo's

Lightroom regularly closes when I delete photos. This always seems to be when iphone photos are deleted. When I restart lightroom, the photos are still not deleted. I am using lightroom version 6.12. Does anyone know why this is happening and what I can do about it?

Hi there,

We're sorry about the trouble experienced with Lightroom. How are you deleting them? Please go to Lightroom> Help> System Info and share the details? Are you deleting the images from your iPhone? Since when is it happening? Did you try re-login into the application? Do you see any error messages?

Please log on to Lightroom web (https://lightroom.adobe.com) and confirm if everything is correctly synced and the images are removed or not.

I work in lightroom classic on my laptop. I copy the photo's from my iphone to my laptop, then I import them in lightroom. So the photo's are on my laptop, just like all other photo's I have. 

When I want to delete a photo I select it and then press the delete button. It deletes the photo from my laptop, but lightroom shuts down immediately and when I open lightroom again the photo (preview) is still in the gallery. It is only with iphone photo's that this happens, I don't experience this problem with my other photo's.
