Hello,

I'm a professional photographer and I've used LR tethered to my camera for several years without any problem but since I started using a Canon R5 the program crashes almost instantly. I setup the tether session take a couple shots and then LR crashes. I would really like to know whats going on. Capture One works perfectly with my equipment but I would prefer to use LR. Here's my equipment.

Lightroom Classic - version 10.2

2019 MacBook Pro  - macOS Big Sur 11.3.1 Corei7 16gb ram

Camera - Canon R5

Tether Cable - Tether Tools 15' USB-C

I believe the Tethering support for the Canon EOS R5 and R6 was made available via Lightroom Classic 10.2 late in March, so not sure why yours would not work now.

Out of curiosity, have you tried uninstalling LR and then reinstalling it ?
