lightroom crashing

Lightroom classic will not open for me tonight!! the whole icon just disappeared so i redownloaded the software. then everytime i try to open it, it says not responding on my mac. HELP! I have so much editing to do.

  • What version for Lightroom? Do you subscribe to an Adobe Plan, and as such use Lightroom Classic (current v13.4) ? Or is this the old Perpetual Lightroom (ended at v6.14)
  • What MACOS Name and Version?
