LrC 11.0.1
Mac OS X 11.6.1 (Big Sur)
Mac Mini M1 2020, Apple Pro XDR display
Steps to reproduce:
- Open LrC with the largest possible window size.
- Minimize LrC window.
- Put the computer to sleep (wait until the computer really goes to sleep).
- Wake up the computer, the screen flickers briefly, and readjusts the desktop size.
- Activate LrC. It opens with a much smaller window placed in the bottom left of the desktop
Expected result:
- LrC window size should not have been changed when putting the computer to sleep.
Actual result:
- LrC does not restore the original window size when activated after sleep.
Photoshop and all other applications behave as expected (original window size is restored).

Not familar with the Mini, does it run on a battery when not plugged in, like a MACBook?
So an inquiry is why allow it to go into power savings?
LrC, and apparently LrD has had problems with Computers and/or hard drives going into power savings, especially on MAC. And used to have a problem with Dark Mode (have no idea if that relates)
Also their may be a bug with MACOS and full screen for LrC (some are having the mask control panel/box act like a pop under)
And, not for LrC, but for LrD, a known problem (Others) msybe one similar for LrC?

hmm, but not in:

Now that does not help you with your problem. But if you have a normal screen showing in LrC as opposed to full, does it behave differently?

Thank you for your comments
Mac Mini is a desktop computer. It is typical to put a computer into sleep when not working with it. The computer enters sleep mode either manually or automatically after a time interval.
All other applications, including Adobe's PS, work correctly,
Thank you for the links provided. None of them seem to address the issue described.
The issue appears when minimizing the LrC window in normal mode (not full screen).
IIRC, I had a similar issue with Lightroom long time ago. It was fixed either with Mac OS or Adobe update.

The issue seems to disappear with macOS Monterey (12.1).
