The first thing that you should try is to switch off the GPU support from the Lightroom preferences and check if that helps to fix the issue.

Go to Lightroom > Preferences > Performance tab > Uncheck "Use Graphics Processor" > Restart Lightroom.

https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/kb/lightroom-gpu-faq.html#troubleshooting

https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/kb/troubleshoot-gpu.html

If Lightroom doesn't start correctly the please see "Solution 2" in the document behind the second link.

Troubleshoot GPU issues | Lightroom Classic (adobe.com)

Another step is to try to reset the Lightroom preferences.

If this doesn't help we need more informations about your environment.

Which operating system do you use?

Which version of Lightroom do you use?

Please post the exact version and not only phrases as "recent", "latest" and so on.

Do you get an error message? If yes, please post the exact message or an screenshot.

What has been changed on your syste msince the error occure?

BTW Windows 7 is a dead product. There's no more support, no updates and securitiy patches. It's a huge risk to connect the PC to the internet. You should install the update to Windows 10 as soon as possible,

First of all thenks for prompt reply.

Unfortunetelly I can't apply your suggestion becase, as I have already said, the Lightroom dosen't respond when I thry to open it.

Following your suggestin here following the additional informations which can be useful to better define the problem:

The operatin system used is better defined in the enclosed attachment:

Info 1.JPG

 The Lightroom usesed:

Cattura 2.JPG

Actually when I try to open the Lightroom, I don't receive any error message but the only thing I can see is the progrem who try to start the lightroom and in the windows activity manegement I can read " Lightroom catalog - Adobe Photoshop Lightroom doesn't respond".

In this condition I can not apply any suggested actions.

I don't know if these additional informations cold be enought to identify possible solution, in any case thanks for your support.

Regerds.

Have you read my answer exactly? There you'll find:

If Lightroom doesn't start correctly the please see "Solution 2" in the document behind the second link.

Troubleshoot GPU issues | Lightroom Classic (adobe.com)

What I have see that you have the fist version of Lightroom 6 (6.0) installed. The lastest availabe version of LR 6 is version 6.14. Goto  Adobe Lightroom 6 (CC 2015) Direct Download Links – Free Trials | ProDesignTools and

scroll down to the section "Adobe Lightroom 6/CC 2015 Direct Download Links". There you'll find the installation files of the latest version. Please download the appropriate file, install this version and check.

Another step is to check if you catalog has a problem. Open the Windows Explorer and rename you recent catalog file and start Lightroom. LR shows an error message that the catlog wasn't found and you can create a new catalog.

You can also try to reset the LR preferences.

https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/help/setting-preferences-lightroom.html#restore_preference...

Please see section "Method 2".

What has been changed on your system before the error occur?
