Lightroom encountered a problem reading this photo

Seit der Version von LrC 12.3 (Windows 10) habe ich immer wieder folgende Fehlermeldung:

Ein unbekannter Fehler ist aufgetreten. / Beim Lesen dieses Fotos ist in Lightroom ein Problem aufgetreten. / Du kannst keine Änderungen am Foto vornehmen.

Nach einem Neustart von Lighromm, kann das Foto wieder bearbeitet werden.

Es ist wirklich ärgerlich. Woran liegt dieses Problem? Für Hilfe bedanke ich mich.

Since the version of LrC 12.3 (Windows 10) I have repeatedly got the following error message:

An unknown error has occurred. / Lightroom encountered a problem reading this photo. / You cannot make any changes to the photo.

After restarting LrC, the photo can be edited again.

It's really annoying. What is the problem? Thanks for help.

I have had that happen to me where re-starting LrC makes the message go away. (But it has only happened to me once) I believe there are other threads on this, and you should search for them.

As a first troubleshooting step, select one of the problem photos and do Metadata > Save Metadata To File. Upload it (and its .xmp sidecar if it's a raw) to Dropbox, Google Drive, or similar and post the sharing link here. We can then see if the problem occurs on other LR installations or is specific to yours.
