For some reason, my LIghtroom window has this grey bar with  camera data in it. I can't figure out how to remove it. Please advise!

Is this not a possible corrupt preference file issue?

/Followup/ Yes, hat tip to Per Berntsen. An old LrC version.

The gray background (which is supposed to be transparent) typically appears when using an older version of LR on an unsupported Mac OS.

The small part of the toolbar visible in the screenshot also indicates that this is an older version.
