Lightroom has been syncing 8 photos nonstop for over a month........?

8 Photos in my LR catalogue have been syncing consistently non stop each time I open lightroom classic. The blue syncing icon in the upper right never dissapears and the green check mark doesn't replace it. The app seems like it's stuck in an endless snyc. What's possibly going on here? Any ideas?

Hey, @David Neuman. Welcome to the Lightroom Classic community. I'll help you figure this out

In Lightroom Classic, go to Preferences (CMD+,) > Lightroom Sync & share a screenshot of this window along with the system info of Lightroom from Help > System info > Copy & paste into a text document > Upload as an attachment here.

When you go to Preferences > Lightroom Sync tab, look for the list of files that are in progress & click on the file names.

Try these steps:

1- Not missing & placed in a single sync collection in Lightroom Classic. - Stop the sync for this collection by clicking on the little sync icon right next to the collection name in the Collections panel.

Or,

2 - If the images are missing from Lightroom Classic. - Delete them or stop syncing these images in Lightroom Classic & sync them again once they're linked back to Lightroom Classic and are no longer missing files.

Let me know how it goes. Thanks!

Sameer K
