Lightroom mask being asked to recompute

Every photo is asking for the masks to recompute, I have just updated lightroom is this an issue with the last update, it is extremley painful and time consuming, I noticed this was an issue with previous catalouges but was supposed to be fixed? I have never had this issue until the recent update.

Select the photos. Then in the Library module choose 'Photo - Develop Settings - Update AI Settings', or in the Develop Module choose 'Settings - Update AI Settings'.

Thanks for the response however neither of those options work, could there be another reason for this?

Can you post a screenshot of the 'recompute' message you get? And what happens when you invoke that menu? "Does not work" is as vague as it gets and could mean many things.
