Dear Community,
I am using Lightroom CC (and Photoshop) professionally and intensely on a everyday basis with highspec Laptop Computer and Wacom Cintiq. I am dealing with large 45MP RAWs of a Canon R5.
I need a secondary more lighweight setup to be able to work with only 12 volts power supply (with adapter up to 24V is ok!) in a car, which I have done before semi-successfully with a Wacom CompanionII (it has always been very slow and in need of running the annoying fans constantly). I need a replacement for this CompanionII.
Wacom offers:
Mobilestudio Pro 13" (with Intel Iris Plus Graphics655, 16 GB DDR RAM)
OR
Mobilestudio Pro 13" ( with NVIDIA® Quadro® P1000 (4GB GDDR5) and 16 or 32 GB DDR RAM)
Both run on Intel® CoreTM i7-8559U and 512 GB SSD.
Who has experience with any of those two machines and can tell me if I can expect them to work professionally? Or who can give me advice about the hardware components?
Will Lightroom be happy with the specs?
Which specs are most important to run Lightroom snappy and smoothely with large RAWS?
Thank you so much for your help!
Best regards Juli
