A jpg is not a catalog.

Make sure to open the latest catalog you are working with. A catalog uses *.lrcat file ending.

Show us a screen capture of what you see. Do not Attach it here, use the Insert Photo function

Are you replying via e-mail? If so, attaching images does not make it to the actual post in the community.

You will need to logon to the community, bring up your posting, create a new reply (I suspect as a new member editing your own reply is not yet available to you, community rules) And use the Insert Photo button in the top menu bar to insert that screenshot (incidentally while you could use the attachment button that's not as efficient)

Using your operating system's search feature, find the LrC catalog file somewhere on your computer (the default location is in the Pictures\Lightroom folder but it could be elsewhere), its name ends in .LRCAT. Then double-click on the .LRCAT icon to open it.
