Lightroom Unable to Install/"Sorry, Lightroom won't run on your OS"

New Here ,
Jun 19, 2024 Jun 19, 2024

Hey, everybody.

I recently upgraded my PC/Monitor. I was very excited to take advantage of the better GPU/Processor for my photo editing, however every time I try to install Lightroom or Lightroom classic, I get the above error messages.

I am running:

Windows 10 Version 2H22

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700K @ 4.00 GHz

16 GB Ram

[Moved from ‘Bugs’ to ‘Discussions’ by moderator, according to forum rules. A ‘bug’ is not just another word for a problem with software.]

And at first glance, to my technologically illiterate eyes, everything meets minimum reqs. What gives?

The graphics memory for the integrated GPU is probably below specs.

Please post your System Information as Lightroom Classic (LrC) reports it. In LrC click on Help, then System Info, then Copy. Paste that information into a reply. Please present all information from first line down to and including Plug-in Info. Info after Plug-in info can be cut out as that is just so much dead space to us non-Techs and it takes up vast amounts of scroll space making the reply less readable and less likely that others will bother with your post.
