Lightroom update

New Here ,

My mom is a photographer and loved using Lightroom because it was simple and did what she needed but now that the AI editing has been introduced she hasn't been able to edit her own photos and has been thinking about stopping her use of the app is there a way to turn it off so she doesn't have to?

Are you talking about Lightroom (Lr icon) or Lightroom Classic (LrC icon)?

What do you mean by "she hasn't been able to edit her own photos"? Please be specific and detailed.

Yes, we need more detail about how “she hasn't been able to edit her own photos” because in fact, no manual controls have been removed. It’s just as possible to edit manually in all forms of Lightroom (desktop, mobile, web, Lightroom Classic) as it ever was. If you go into the Detail (editing) view in Lightroom today, the manual edit controls are still the first ones at the top. Is it possible that she’s actually talking about another application?

All of the AI features in Lightroom are optional, and none of them take effect unless you ask them to. Although some of the AI features are handy, I still edit mostly manually.
