Lightroom use with NAS server and multiple users

HI,

the institute I work for is looking for a programme to be able to organise, search by tags/keywords and metadata and possibly edit the photos we produce.

The photos will be saved on a NAS server to which about 15-20 people have access.

Ideally several people should be able to access and work on the photos at the same time (to be precise, access the same photo folders, but not necessarily the same file at the same time).

Is this feasible with Lightroom? I found online that Lightroom can be used with a NAS, but it´s not entirely clear to me whether multiple users can work with the same photo collections?

If so, how should we set up our computers? Do we need different accounts for each employee?

No, this is not what Lightroom was designed for and will not work.
