Ever since I updated to Lightroom version 13.1(?), the program keeps crashing! I have uninstaled and reinstalled Lightroom MULTIPLE times and the progra continues to crash for no apparent reason. Is it time to revert to another non Adobe program????

What exact version of Lightroom Classic are you using? The latest version is 13.3.
Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling as well as resetting the preferences file?
You should also try updating your graphics driver.
If you're using security software, try turning it off before using the app.

So, Adobe has really done it this time, at lease for members who SYNC. Thos of us who never evver SYNC to the Cloud, are apparently not running into this.
As you are currently in pre v13.3, I would recommend that you inspect for any SYNC still occurring, or stalled, or pending, And complete that task before even thinking to upgrade to v13.3, or for that matter, should Adobe fix the issue, upgrading to the fix. Do not upgrade past 13.0 with any SYNC outstanding.
Apparently if their is any outstanding SYNC in a catalog, upon upgrading to v13.3, things go BAD. Very Bad. Apparently the SYNC runs into issues, and it can take days for it to resolve.

Thank you for your help, I will remain with ver 13.0 until it's fixed or until I figre out Darktable.
