Limit aspect ratio not lockable

Community Beginner ,
Mar 28, 2025 Mar 28, 2025

When I set the Limit aspect ratio for one picture, I can lock it by clicking the lock icon or press a while in 'R-Mode'.

But I cannot set it as before to 'for all locked'. It is always after import in unlock Mode.

I not even can sync it. When I set one picture to locked, than select a second picture and use the sync function, than both pics are unlocked after this action.

Also I cannot save it into a preset.

I need this 'always locked' ratio after import!

Close the padlock before you change the size in any way. That will set the default to locked.

Yes, I know that. It works for 1 image. And yes, than I can sync it to other images than - but that includes the croped valuesthan as well!

But before I could close the padlock, exit the Crop tool and it was set for all in the catalog.

I want the default closed padlock for the catalog back, or at least I would like to set my prefered value/status.

My crop tool is set to locked as default, done the way I described. The Aspect is set to 'Original'.

Also for all new imported images? I tried a lot the last days to set it to the locked padlock after import. But all my images start with open aspect ratio.

I cannot change my 'default' using your way. I also tried a new catalog.

Ok, I think I got it CTRL+ALT+R did reset something more, now the 'old way' to set default to locked is working again. I don't now, what was 'set somewhere'.
