Locate missing files in several folders

I am trying to determine which files may be missing in certain library folders after moving my library to an external hard drive.

If I click on a folder in the library module, will the missing file icon show up in the strip (bottom) thumbnail as well as the larger thumbnails in the multi-view of the folder?
