lost files in side bars

On June 19, evening, I lost all my files in the sidebars.  The images are on my computer, but Lightroom, and Photoshop too, can't see them.  They came back once, but not again.  I have only two folders that I can open.

I can access the photos in Windows and online, but the Lightroom catalogs don't show up any more.

I'm using an HP Envy laptop, Windows 10, Firefox browser.

I'm not really sure what that means. Please show us a screen capture, using the "Insert Photos" icon (do not attach files).
