Lost Link to catalog after updating

Upgraded Lightroom Classic to version 11.3 on my MacBook.  Now the app:

- Lost the "link" to my catalog files from 2022

- Lost the plug-in link to Topaz Sharpen, while keeping DeNoise

- Does not back-up the catalog when exiting

- Most times, locks up when exiting, and I have to Force Quit the application.

I'd like to go back to the 11.2 version.  How might I do this, please?  Thanks-

Use the Update Folder location command to relink the 'root' folder if you still see it but LR doesn't know where those actual files reside.

You may need to reinstall the plug-in.

Check preferences for the backup (IMHO, it's worthless but that's another story).

When LR crashes, the first thing to try is resetting preferences and you may wish to do this step first:

Quit Lightroom Classic.
MacOS: Press and hold the Shift + Option keys.
Windows: Press and hold the Shift + Alt keys.
While holding down the keys, launch Lightroom Classic.
When asked, select "Yes".

Oh, missed the last question:

You want to go back to previous versions?
In Adobe Creative Cloud, select PS, click on the three dots and select "Other Versions".

Thanks, I got back to 11.2, phew.   Now importing the catalogs from my hard drive to the LR catalog again.  Heavy sigh...I should not have to do all of this after an Adobe update- now I am really hesitant to do so!!
