lost photos

If I have an exclamation point in the corner of my photos in the library, and the pictures are no longer on my pc, can they still be recovered from LR?  (they were not backed up either)

No Backup of images!  They are GONE!  Lesson learnt!

There are plugins available that can create JPG image files from the Previews in your LrC Catalog. (And you have THAT backed up- don't you??)

The pixel size of recovered images depends entirely on the Size of the Previews existing in the LrC Preview cache.
