(MacOS Catalina 10.15.7 with 32 GB RAM)

LR 10.2 has been running perfectly.  Just updated to 10.4 and immediately in Develop, everything became glacially slow.

Then trying to Export, after 60sec delay, I get: "Some export operations were not performed - The file could not be written" (See attachment)

This feels a lot like a bad install.  Sometimes this occurs because of the state of the machine at the time of upgrade. A clean reinstall will usually cover it.

Clean Lightroom Install Procedure

  1. Close Lightroom
  2. Restart the computer
  3. Use the Adobe Creative Cloud App to uninstall Lightroom
  4. Restart the computer
  5. Install Lightroom via the Creative Cloud App without launching any other programs.
  6. Restart the computer
  7. Launch Lightroom
  8. Wait 5 minutes

Many thanks for your reply , BUT trying to uninstall Lr Classic 10.4 using
Adobe Cloud, the only result I get is "unload ALL adobe apps"!???

Is there another way to uninstall just Lr Classic, or is it hiding in the
cloud?

Thanks,

Tim

Thanks so much Rikk

After a very frustrating afternoon trying to get Adobe Cloud to work! Never have I had to do so many restarts! ;o) But it is finally all done according to your instructions and the export is working again. I am delighted!
