hi. u got this massage in the middke of a tethered session with Lr 12.3, using nikon z6ii:

an internal error has occured:A tether error has occured. current image import has failed, please restart tether session. i restarted and restarted the pc and camera with no help/

Restart the camera while plugging it into the computer as a basic step. If this does not help, try updating the USB drivers for the Camera in the Windows Device Manager. You can also reset Lightroom's preferences (use method 2):
