On my laptop, Lightroom Classic 15.0 and the recent update 15.0.1 won't start. The process begins but remains in the background without opening the program. The Creative Cloud Desktop app confirms that LR Classic is compatible with my device.
My operating system is Windows 11 Home 25H2.
I haven't had any issues like this with previous versions. I reinstalled the version prior to 15, and it starts up correctly.
The problem is that I have version 15 installed on my main PC, and the catalog is updated to that version, so I can't open that catalog on version 14 on my laptop!
Already tried suggested procedure but with no success.
Issue has been solved by installing latest version of Microsoft Visual C++
Thanks for your support.

It also appears when lightroom updates, you have to do this again. I reinstalled the runtimes with v15, and then after it updated to 15.0.1 it broke again. I keep the 2015-2022 redistrabutable on my desktop and just run it in repair mode whenever it stops working.

Argh... The procedure I described was applied after I updated to 15.0.1 (I was hoping that the issue I described in this post was solved...), so at the moment it worked for me.
Can I ask you what is "Repair Mode"?
Thanks
