I've unsuccessfully been trying to troubleshoot extremely slow behavior in the develop module for a while now and I'm looking for some help. The develop module works for me (i.e., images load, not the gray/no image issue others have reported), but switching between photos is agonizingly (and inconsistently) slow. It will take between 1 and 20 seconds to switch between photos, usually 4+ seconds. This happens even with new sets of images (no adjustments), so it's not a case of trying to load dozens of complicated adjustment brushes or anything like that. The Library tab runs very smoothly.
I've done all of the commonly recommended fixes:
Tried with both GPU acceleration enabled and disabled
Updated GPU drivers (tried both the latest optional and latest WHQL)
Fully removed GPU drivers and using AMD Driver Cleaner and reinstalled drivers fresh
Reset Lightroom Preferences
No difference with any of those tips. Any other suggestions?
When you select a different image, and loading that image is so slow, was that image previously selected in the develop module? Had you previously brought it up in the develop module? Or was your previous interactions with that image the import process?
Also, what is your limit for Camera RAW set to in preferences?
