LR can't import from top level

I have set a preset to import from my 'Removable Disk (K)' which is a memory card reader permanently connected to my desktop.

When I use my preset it does not select the top level Removable Disk (K) which was highlighted when I made the preset, but instead selects the next folder down, DCIM folder (I have Include Subfolders turned on). As I use a Sony camera, it stores photos in the DCIM folder and videos in the Private folder.

The problem with LR preset selecting the DCIM folder is it does NOT select the Private folder with the videos in. I have once used the preset and forgot it did not select my videos and then formatted my memory card loosing all my videos !!!!!

I know I can manually select the Removable Disk (K) or select both DCIM and Private folders but that defeats the purpose of a preset (I use many different import presets for different scenarios).

Is there a way to get LR preset to select the actual memory card, Removable Disk (K) ? as per attached image.

Thank you

Nigel.

Nope. Import presets only store the settings of the right panel, not the settings of the source panel.
