LR Classic 11.2 not working correctly

Lightroom Classic 11.2

MacOS Monterey Version 12.2.1

Updated to 11.2 and now have this problem 

My normal workflow is to open image in LR do some edits in the develop module and then open up into PS and do more editing there. Save back to LR. I then do some final edits in the Develop module. This all works OK. I then get the following problems

1. In the develop module if I switch to the split screen (reference / Active) I cannot drag an image and drop it into the reference window. I also cannot switch between images clicking on thumbnails does not work 

2. switching to the Library the File/thumbnail does not up date if I change the star rating. I can switch between thumbnails in the Library Module but when I go back to the Develop module there is no image showing. scrolling through the thumbnails has no effect.

3. Only way to resolve this is to exit LR but what I have found on reopening is that all my LR ajdustments have reverted back to default

I need  to roll back to the previous version (I have a lot of work to do) but seem to remenber part of the 11.2 update was to change the library and fear this may cause problems.

Any help appreciated

Tried that plus disabled GPU and still getting the issue

lightroom 11.2 is broken. 

Of course there is no way to actually let Adobe devs know of this, so we have to wait yet again until another fix for another broken release. 

Shortcuts will break with Lightroom 11.2, plugins don't work either. It's a mess.

Agread, rolled back. Latest PS udate also not working (pixalation on layers)

Yep. Same issues. Plus finding the publishing via smugmug plugin to update shots on smugmug not working either all of the sudden. Business is grinding to a halt... customers getting annoyed.

Cannot access ANY of my photos stored on extenal drive, LR and PS can't see them. Raw can but can't save to disk.... womderful!!!!
