I'm running Mac Sonoma 14.0 Beta (23A5301h) on my Macbook M1 Pro. I use an external hard drive to store my LR catalog and have been for years. After a recent Mac ISO update, when I launch LR, my catalog opens to "all photographs." within the Library Tab. When I click on any of my individual folders LR either crashes immediately or freezes and I cannot open any of my individual images in any folder.
I have the latest 12.5 build installed. of LR

Sonoma is not yet officially supported. I think if Sonoma is officially released by Apple there will be patches and updates through Adobe to support this version.
In the meantime you can try to reset the preferences to the default settings.
It's recommended to backup your preferences before you reset the preferences to the default settings:

If this doesn't help try to switch off the GPU support from the Lightroom preferences and check if that helps to fix the issue.
Go to Lightroom > Preferences > Performance tab > Uncheck "Use Graphics Processor" > Restart Lightroom.

I reset the Preferences and now while in the Library tab, I can click on any folder without LR crashing, however, now the images do not load into the main display window nor on the bottom image ribbon. I also disabled the GUI, but this did not help.

I don't think there's much anyone here can tell you until Sonoma is officially released and supported by Adobe.

You may find that using the most recent release of macOS Sonoma is more stable than one that was released at end of July.

Thank you, I have the most recent installed

The version you quote is Beta 4 build number 23A5301h from 31 July. See below link that shows the version release table that clearly shows that 4 is not the most recent.

Thanks, I thought I was up to date! I'll check on the new version. Thank you again

I downloaded the latest update via the System Settings, Beta Updates, and what appears to get updated is a bunch of X-code. Anyway, I restarted the computer and tried LR once again, and I still have the same problem: it does not display the images within my folders on the main preview window. I guess I need to wait until after Septermber 26th when Adobe gets around to fixing whatever the bug is.

I have the latest Sonoma beta installed on an M2 Mac. Lightroom crashes when I try to go to the Print module. It then crashes immediately when I try to reopen it.
Resetting my preferences allows LRC to open but it then crashes when going to Print. Before doing so I disabled the GPU but it did not prevent the crash.
Sonoma is due to be officially release on September 26th. I certainly hope Adobe has fixes ready to go by that date.

Not Adobe, I do not have actual info from Adobe, but I doubt that Adobe will have a update on September 26. Fairly sure they will not start work until the MACOS is officially published. And I suspect (with no evidence) that Apple is not so helpful.
Always wonder why some people want to install BETA OS on their working computer. A test computer, Ok, but not their working computer. Well, at least non official BETA testers. Heck, I would not even install the official release OS until the first bug fix, i.e. MACOS 14.0.1, Or at least wait two weeks to here user complaints (or not)

Adobe normally publish a list of known issues for all their products shortly before or very soon after a new OS version release.
Crashes when trying to access the Print module are not specific to macOS Sonoma, and may occur until the printer vendors update their drivers for Sonoma. Unfortunately, this can take much longer than many of would like, but blaming Adobe for every crash after installing a newly released OS or beta is tad unfair.

Are you saying print drivers come into play as soon as the print module is selected, not when printing is requested? Because LRC is crashing as soon as I select the print module.
Note I can print to both of my printers from other applications on Sonoma.
The beta test period is an opportunity to find problems with the OS and programs. For a major software vendor to not start preparing until after the OS update is released is irresponsible (and probably not their actual process).

The latest Beta Version 14.0 (23A344) fixes all the issues in LR Classic, print moule will now open without crashing!

Where are you downloading 23A344 from? I don't have that update available when I go to software update.
Thank you

The update appeared last night, OSX Daily mentioned it, I opened the software update page in system settings and made sure developer update was ticked.
