LR Classic Crashing when used on undocked laptop

I'm running LR Classic on a Surface Book 3. I've beening using it docked to dual montiors as well as undocked using the laptop screen while on the go.

Recently, whenever i undock my laptop and start LR Classic, it freezes. However when I dock it, it works fine. Any thoughts as to why this may be happening?

While undocked, try resetting LR's preferences:

LR sometimes soils its preferences file, and resetting it can fix all sorts of wonky behavior. That article explains how to restore the old preferences if resetting doesn't help.
