Just installed the new MacBook Pro 16" with M2 Max. The pics with LR Classic 12.1 are flickering when adjusting photos, unless I disable the GPU. Working on a Apple Pro Display XTR.
Any comments on this or other experiences?

Flickering means: in developping mode the photo is changing from original status to adjusted values to and fro, making it impossible to judge the developping adjustments. Only disabling the GPU helps, which makes LR very slow in responding.

First Workaround to have the GPU set on automatic: set display settings from Pro Display XTR to Apple Display, thus reducing the nits. Seems to help. Hope to get an update to LR, so the GPU would work on XTR as well

The problem seems to bee the CameraRAW engine: using it causes the flickering. When working on a tif or jpg the problem doesn't arise.

as reported before, Apple XTR screen is flickering when working with Camera RAW (working on tiff or jpeg works as expected).
After updating the Camera RAW to 12.5 the problem remains the same. The workaround is scaling down to less nits, i.e. using the MBP screen, but this cannot be a durable solution.
