Hoping someone can help! I've been working on a wedding for several days now and a few minutes ago, my Lightroom Classic froze. Cue the dreaded spinning color wheel and nothing was working, so I shut down Lightroom and when I reopened, all of my edits from the past few days are gone! Even photos I edited in Photoshop and saved back to Lightroom are gone. Flags and color filters I used to organize my photos from 3 days ago are gone. Never had this happen and I'm just sick about it. What can I do?

Do you have a recent backup of your catalog? If yes you can restore the catalog from this backup.

If not, you've no chance to get all editings and settings back.

The photos you've edited in Photoshop you'll find as psd or tiff files in the appropriate folder(s) and from there you can reimport these.

I've create a backup of the catalog on every time I closed Lightroom. It may take some time, but I'm on the safe side and I don't loose so much work.

Check that Lightroom did not open an older copy of the catalog. Edits are written to the catalog constantly, so I find it hard to believe that you could corrupt the catalog in such a way that it still opens, but does not contain the edits of the last four days. It sounds more like Lightroom opened a catalog copy from four days ago!
