Hi Guys,

I just tried to open my LR Classic on my new Macbook/Ventura 13.4 and I am pretty sure it got updated (?), then I got the message below. So  .... I "Learned More", only to learn nothing more.

What is the right next step here? Thanks a lot.

You need to Grant Full Disk access to Lightroom Classic and Photoshop, see the link below for more info.

Thank you for your efforts in the Forums!  I just updated to Ventura and things have gone seriously awry!  I am using LR 5 and it is no longers seeing .dngs in the selected folders on import.  LR has access via Files and Folders (option 1) but I dont even see LR as an option under Full Dsk Access.  Any help would be appreciated as I try and help some legacy clients with my legacy system!

Thanks, I meant to reply to the answer.  My bad.  It appears LR 5 is no longer supported on the latest Mac OS.  So after having invested 1000s of dollars on Adobe products over the years, we now have to spend $600 more a year for a cloud based subscription to continue.  Best customer service ever!

Quote "LR Classic is around $10/mo."

Adobe Photography Plan includes Photoshop which includes Camera Raw and Bridge, Lightroom Classic, Lightroom (cloud-based) app for desktop, Lightroom mobile for tablets and smart phones and costs  US$ 9.99 per month. A great deal in my opinion.

Adobe does not offer Lightroom Classic as a single application.

True. But his main concern is LR, I think.

Nevertheless I agree with you - great deal!

No, I was just clarifying that the $10 pm was for a lot more than Lightroom Classic.

I just need more info from Chris to respond to his question.

My apologies, feel free to delete my inquiry from this thread if it is confusing.  Before I found the Adobe notification that LR 5 was not supported on Ventura, I thought my problem may have been related to the content on this thread about enabling read access.

I appreciate the helpful feedback and the engagement in the Forum.  My current process leverages several legacy aspects of the creative suite, not just LR and my focus is on art rather than commerce since I closed my studio which makes expensive subscriptions impractical.

I am experimenting with an OS rollback for the moment, but it is an awkward and irritating process.  Since the LR glitch is the primary obstacle for the moment, I will repost my inquiry in a separate thread with a screenshot once I return from this trip and have regular access to the internet.
