This is the second time this issue has happened. I create a new catalog, select import, select a folder, then select import... a lot of the images don't import (random) into LR. The load bar at the top left freezes and it can't finish loading them in. After going back and selecting the same folder and picking "new images", they all show up in the library window but after selecting "import", nothing happens.

I figured out why it had the issue. There was a single MP4 file that was holding up the downloads for whatever strange reason. I removed the file and redownloaded the entire folder and all images imported. I also looked back at the other folder with the same issue and there was a single MP4 there as well.

Yes, their is a current Bug post on this issue with video files along with stills during import. Apparently post LrC version upgrade.
and this post (although an argument as to Discussion or Bug, currently in Discussions) :
I would not be surprised if a moderator merges your post.
P.S. what is your Operating System? Windows 10 or Windows 11. members with Windows 11 may not be having this issue. (this is not yet proven)
