LR crashes with Windows Blue screen error [Branched from an older thread]

I started a photography business two years ago and got really serious last year to the point where I quit my full-time job. Initially 5 years ago I was using a $3,000 laptop and had nothing but freezing issues. I then went to an HP Desktop that I purchased on Amazon but was ripped off due to the graphic card shortage and it came without a graphics card. I then bought a gaming PC which enlightened me on how much faster everything was but the gaming PC had file transfer issues. It was at that point 6 months ago I decided to build my own and bought a ton of Parts on Amazon and built a beast pc. This thing will eat up everything I personally put $2,000 cash into this computer and took a few parts out of the previous gaming pc. The only issue with building my own PC is I used Amazon and they were sending me used broken parts and when I would send them back they would refuse to give me a refund so I lost the $1,000 because of Amazon playing games. So about $7,000 later just so I can edit pictures. I'm currently paying off three different credit cards for computer parts because of my frustration with lightroom. And about a week ago I started getting the blue screen of death every time I would open up a Lightroom picture. Also when I import my pictures from cr3 format and convert to Dng the computer crashes.. I really really hate Adobe lightroom. It's been nothing but a thorn in my ass for about 6 years. And the people at Adobe every time I'll get Lightroom working will send another update and then I start crashing all over again. It's their constant barrage of updates that constantly crashes our computers. I've even contemplating quitting photography and selling all my gear because of lightroom. They have stolen all the joy from what I loved dearly. And the sad thing is I pay them for this misery! And over the years they've never once helped me at all. I have a YouTube Channel and have lost dozens of videos while filming tutorials because of the crashes. I use luminor and topaz and never once have had either one of them crash. And I have multiple software from both of those companies. It's only Lightroom and photoshop. The other day I was editing a picture of Photoshop and about 40 minutes in after I had removed numerous branches from this beautiful bird shot from Huntington Beach South Carolina Photoshop crashed and then when I opened it there was no backup or anything of my work saved. Even though it's supposed to save it. Unfortunately it's the world we live in. These people's take our money treat us like garbage chew us up and spit us out.

We really don't need your life story, Dion. If you have a problem with LightRoom, tell us about that, and keep your personal problems personal.

"It's their constant barrage of updates that constantly crashes our computers"

No, it really isn't: Lr doesn't crash computers, badly configured computers crash computers.

Building your own machine isn't difficult (that's what I've always done both for home and work use) - but you need to do some basic research and due diligence. If you buy components from different generations, like a 4 year old motherboard but bleeding edge latest CPU, you're going to get problems. A very safe rule of thumb is to get components that have been on the market 6 months or so. Then all the support will be in place and bugs ironed out.

If you do it right, a home built machine is the most reliable and rock solid workhorse you can get.

All that said, what you're decribing is classic GPU crashing. So please post system info so we can see what you have.
