LR Files Viewing Differently in Web Browser

I sent a client a Lightroom gallery today and clicked the link to make sure the link I sent worked. When I opened the online gallery, I the images I'd spent hours editing look vastly different side by side in the browser and the program. When I exported the file in jpeg to check my edits, everything looked the same as on-screen.

What is the colour space used with the export? It should be set to sRGB!

Yep...sRGB for exports. However exporting is not what I'm asking about. The screenshot is above is a side by side from my online Lightroom gallery (shared with a client) and the image in Lightroom. The online gallery does not reflect my edits. Why?
