Hi, i recently update my pc specs with newer component.
Here's the previous specs:
i7 4790K 3,6 ghz up to 4,6 ghz , MB gigabyte B85m-ds3h, ddr3 16 gb ram, geforce gtx 1060 3 Gb, ssd sata 500 gb, hdd 1 t
Here's the newer specs:
i7 11700f 2,5 ghz up to 4,4 ghz, MB asus prime h510m-e, ddr4 3200 16 gb ram, geforce gtx 1060 3 gb, ssd m.2 pcie 500 gb, hdd 1 t
I don't know why with new specs when using brushes and hot spots and loading full screen sometimes the pc become very slow and take 3-5 seconds to load the photo in hd and make the necessary change on it. Otherside the pc is very fast on loading photo from my library and opening it in the workspace.
I have 8650 photo on catalogue that is on the hdd meanwhile the chace (5Gb) is on the ssd (the same preferences I have on the previous specs)
I have cloned the previous sata ssd on the recent ssd m.2 pcie and i don't reinstall win 11.
Could be a driver problem? Or the basic frequency of the i7? Or i need to reinstall win 11 for some drive incompatibility?
The first thing that you should try is to switch off the GPU support from the Lightroom preferences and check if that helps to fix the issue.
Go to Lightroom > Preferences > Performance tab > Uncheck "Use Graphics Processor" > Restart Lightroom.

Another step is to try to reset the Lightroom preferences.

It's recommended to backup your preferences before you reset the preferences to the default settings:

Is your system up-to-date? Do you have installed all updates and patches for the operationg system, all recent device and chipset driver. Especially check the driver for the graphic card.

Why have you left that at the default 5Gb?
This can effect develop module edit performance.
Try something more like 50Gb.
