The answer I would suggest is- No.
When you subscribe to an Adobe Plan on a PC or Mac, you require the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App to install and activate the Apps in the plan.
Installing the CC Desktop App will CONVERT your Lr6 to a subscription version with a 30day trial.
You would be best to subscribe to the Photography Plan (20GB) that will allow you to upgrade Lr v6 to v11 (now called Lightroom-CLASSIC).
With the Photography Plan you have all the Apps you need for photography!
