LrC 13.4 won't open on NAS

This is from an Adobe support call that terminated.   Thought I'd try here before I place a support call on Monday.

My data is on a Synology 1522+ NAS with a synced library. On startup, an lrcat-shm and lrcat-wal file are created on the Mac but never appears on the NAS. When that happens, those files are created again. That keep repeating until LrC finally terminates.
This has been working fine for two years. The problem started after I deleted some old LR backup files two days ago.
I also have a call open with Synology as I thought it was a Synology shared folder sync issue. They think it's an Adobe issue.

Be specific. What data is on Synology?

Have you performed tests on the Synology to verify it is working properly?

There are reports in this forum of LrC 13.4 not opening, although it has nothing to do with Synology. You should search from these reports; perhaps an answer has been found.
