If masks are created automatically (for example, the sky is automatically selected), the program (LRC 13.1) crashes.

The usual cause for this is not having the most up-to-date video driver for your GPU, or having the wrong driver (you want the Studio driver and not the game driver)

The other usual cause is an old or underpowered GPU.

With LRC 12 I never had problems with auto masking. Since using LRC 13.1 I have this problems. All drivers are updated.

Adobe changes the way the GPU is used from time to time to allow more tasks to be sped up by going through the GPU. Thus, comparing LrC 13.1 to LrC 12 may not be valid. What worked in LrC12 may not work in LrC 13, if your drivers are not up to date, and/or if your hardware and not powerful enough. Anyway, as stated by @GoldingD , we need to see your system hardware and software as shown in Help->System Info.

Please post your System Information as Lightroom Classic (LrC) reports it. In LrC click on Help, then System Info, then Copy. Paste that information into a reply. Please present all information from first line down to and including Plug-in Info. Info after Plug-in info can be cut out as that is just so much dead space to us non-Techs and it takes up vast amounts of scroll space making the reply less readable and less likely that others will bother with your post.
