LRC does not have sync option when creating a collection

This is the first time I have tried to sync from LRC to Lightroom. I just want to sync a collection not my complete catalog. Is this possible?  Everything I read says there should be an option to sync when creating a collection but there is none. I am using LRC 13.2 on a IMac using Monterey 12.7.2. My syncing is turned on.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

Syncing collections is not only possible, it is the only way. Lightroom Classic does not sync the entire catalog, but you must turn on syncing for the catalog (and you can only sync one single catalog). Check that syncing is not paused, because pausing sync is like stopping sync.
