LRc export not working for large number of photos

My catalog is  just over 100,000 images and was trying to export large number of select images for archive.

If you select a couple hundred and click export it works as expected.  If you select a few thousand after you click export nothing ever happens(left it for several hours).  Is this a known limitation? I could find no answers online as there is no error message.

Thanks in advance

Hey, @defaultf2xesqb98b5w. Welcome to the Lightroom Classic community. I'll need more info to help you figure this out.

Please share the system info of Lightroom Classic from Help > System info > Copy & paste into a text document > Upload and share with us here.

Where do you keep your Lightroom Catalog & the images? On the internal or external drive?

One of the first things to check is to ensure that none of the images selected are currently missing/unavailable to Lightroom.

Go to Preferences > Performance > Use Graphics Processor > Set it to Off or set it to use for export & test the outcome.

Does the activity monitor show a spike in CPU, GPU, or Disk usage when you click on export?

Let us know how it goes. Thanks!
