LRC export to web with large thumbnails produces "broken page"

I'm running LRC 11.1 on an MB M1 Pro with OSX 12.1, but this bug is older (from 2019 or earlier?)

When I export to Web and Appearance>"Thumbnail Size" is large, then the webpage does not work on mobile (iOS tested) devices. The page will load, but you can't scroll or click on photos. If the thumbnails are medium, then everything works.
