LRC folders are gone

Upgraded to Windows 11 which knocked out LRC. The program is running now but folders with previews I delivered are gone. All pictures are on an external hard drive and fine but I really don't want to start them all over that I did previews. How do I locate?

Where did you keep your master Lr-Classic catalog?  Internal drive or External drive? 

Did the Windows upgrade possibly delete your working catalog?  If so then opening LrC could have created a new empty catalog (folders "gone"?).

You need to find that master working catalog (catalog name.LRCAT) and open it, or if it doesn't exist find and restore a backup catalog.

RESTORE A CATALOG FROM BACKUP

If you do see folders and photos in a catalog that you open and they show as 'Missing' then you will need to re-link them, with this advice-
