LRC - "No photos in selected Folder"

It appears that my photos are part of the catalog but Lightroom Classic can't find them?

I've got several fodlers that say "No photos in selected Folder." When I go to locate the files, the folder is already pointing at the right location and the files are there. If I try to syncronize the folder all of the photos are greyed out saying "This photo has already been imported".

When I go to all photos and try to search for a filename, I get no results (no filters, unstacked, etc.). How can I resolve this?

This could be caused by a corrupted 'Catalogname Helper.lrdata' file in your catalog folder. Trash it so Lightroom Classic rebuilds it. See if that solves the problem. If it does not, then resetting/trashing the preferences is the next thing to try. https://www.lightroomqueen.com/how-do-i-reset-lightrooms-preferences/

These photos have already been imported, but to a different folder than the folder you think they are in. You need to find these photos in Lightroom Classic. Follow all four of these steps in order:

1. In the Lightroom Classic Library Module, on the left, under Catalog, click on All Photographs
2. Turn off all filters (Ctrl-L once or twice)
3. Turn off all stacking (Photo->Stacking->Expand All Stacks)
4. Search for at least one of these photos by file name using the Lightroom Classic Filter Bar

Let us know what you find.

No luck unforunately, here's screenshots showing the details.

No images found in the folder (you can see some folders have images, but most of my recent ones do not:

Image is already in catalog (when I try to syncronize)

File is in the correct folder (and I've already done some editing and exporting finals)

 All Photos, no filters, unstacked

Searching for the same image that was shown as already imported above:

Deleting the Helper.lrdata didn't fix it, (LRC re-added it after restarting, but the issue remains.
I've either already reset preferences, or I don't seem to be able to on Windows 11:

I know this sounds crazy, but in your last screen capture, set the Filter Bar dropdown to File Name, set the other dropdown to Contains, and then please re-do the search.

Chances are low, but try this: in All Photographs, Filters off, stacks expanded, sort the photos in the grid by Capture Date, scroll up or down until you come to 12/4/2024 and see if you can pick the photo out in the Grid. Or sort by file name, scroll up or down until you come to the location where that file name should be.

Unfortunately, still not there. I'm missing 6 months worth of photos looking at them by date (most of 2024). But of course, if I try to Synrocnize a folder, lightroom says they are already imported.

Is it possible that you renamed these images on import? That would mean that they are indeed in the catalog, but because they have a different name it may be difficult to find them. Sorting by Capture Date might help to find them.

The images weren't renamed on import. Sorting by Capture Date just shows that there are no longer any images past March 2024.

I've restored a backup that was taken in November, all images up to that point are shown correctly in the backup (meaning the file names aren't wrong, the images haven't moved). Unfortunately, it looks like I've lost a month worth of work with the catalog being corrupted.
