i am struggling to buy lightroom classic. i already have a LR account but dont know how to change it, can anyone help please?

If you open your Creative Cloud Desktop, then you should see the applications you've already installed and those available to you based on your subscription. From there, you can select LrC (not to be confused with Lightroom which is the cloudy version)
