Hi,
I have been using Lightroom CC (which is up to date) to import photos without any problems until yesterday when I imported three cards. The first one was fine, but then all three pus two files I imported at the beginning of May have developed the problem below.
I use an I Mac and save a copy to Finder. When the raw files are converted to .dng in Finder they are showing up with a magenta colour.
The jpgs are fine and if I open a magenta coloured dng file in PS ( also up to date) or Lightroom, it opens in the correct colour.
Can work with it but don't like it. I did have this happen once before and seem to remember there being a simple solution but canot remember what it was.
Anyone able to help.
Thank you.
And, downloaded Adobe DNG converter, yep, magenta problem.

A bit confused. Is your problem in Lightroom, or Lightroom Classic?
And what exact version? (the word latest is often considered as useless in this community)
Incidentaly, their is no longer any Adobe product called Lightroom CC. Stating LR CC implies a very old copy. Current computer based products are Lightroom, and Lightroom Classic.

See attached screen shot of Mac Finder -one Fujifilm import and conversion to dng-magenta colour. The other is Canon import with dng conversion done straight after the Fuji one which is fine.
Mac OS Catalina 10.15.7
Have been using Catalina for six months and no problem until now.

What camera(s)?

How was the DNG acquired?
From a camera that saves RAW as DNG?
From Lightroom, during import (Copy as DNG)?
From a third party RAW to DNG conversion app?

For the Fuji X, do you still have the RAF file?
Without conversion, how does it look in LrC?

Also, a wild hunch to disprove, while in LrC, while seeing the magenta, double check LrC version just in case you have multiple LrC copy's on your computer, several versions back (8.2?), Adobe had Fuji X WB issues.
I have Fuji X, and LrC 10.3, no such problem.

Hi, Thank you for your suggestions and help.
All my files have RAF files and they show up on Lightroom Classic when I import using Copy and they are perfect. Once I convert to .DNG either in Lightroom or using the Adobe DNG converter I still get Magenta Mac Finder .dng files. Files are still perfect in Lightroom. What is really weird is that I converted one RAF file both ways-both went pink, but when I went to select them both to delete them, they reverted to the correct colour when I selected the second one. See example below.
I have checked for old versions of everything ( have had a good clean up). Restarted the computer and still the same. Going to move on for now as I have wasted so much time trying to sort this. Everything worked perfectly until the last update. Will wait for the next update and see if a glitch is happening that recitifies itself.
I have also reverted to previous Lightroom Classic version and when that did not work, re installed the latest version. It does not affect the editing , saving or printing.

Additional testing, what about third party DNG converter
Brought of a RAF in Iridient X-Transformer and converted.
Looking at the resultant file in Finder, no issue (before importing in LrC)
Imported, no problem in LrC or Finder.
Appears to be as you may have stated a Adobe Camera RAW issue.

Hi GoldingD,
Great sleuthing. Thank you for persevering and glad you had the same camera.
I will download a third party converter or just wait.
As I am new to this forum, do we report it here so that Adobe is aware of it as a Camera Raw issue or will it rectify as they do updates.
Thank you so much.
