Map Module Stopped working in Lightroom Classic

Map module in Lightroom Classic is not working.

Comes up with a grey screen and message: "Oops! Something went wrong. This page didn't load Google Maps Correctly. See the JavaScript console for technical details."

I have seen others reporting this behavior and get the same result on two different computers -- both clearly online.

Ouch.

Has anyone found away to work around this?

Yes, Google seems to have changed something. There are several threads here already. Hopefully it's just a temporary glitch, otherwise Adobe may have to bring out an update before it works again.

I'm seeing this issue again with LrC 12.2.1 as of today.  Yesterday, the map module worked just fine.

Please do not resurrect a years old thread, even if it seems to be about the same issue. The chance that this is really the same issue as something that happened many years ago with very different versions of Lightroom, Google Maps and your OS is very slim. If it is the same thing after all, then a moderator may merge the threads if this is considered useful.

You’ve posted to an ancient thread. It is highly unlikely that the issue described in this thread, though not impossible, is the same one you are currently experiencing. Rather than resurrect an old thread that is seemingly similar, you are better off posting to a new thread with fresh, complete information, including system information, a complete description of the problem, and step-by-step instructions for reproduction.

If the issue is the same, we will merge you back into the appropriate location.

Thank you!
