So after literally 8 months of not being able to use the People masking feature, we got maybe 2 months of beautiful full usage and now I just installed the most recent oS update on my 2020 iMac and the masking tool in both CameraRaw and Lightroom Classic is COMPLETELY shutting down the program. I have restarted the program and the machine of course and tried turning off the graphics processor and still the same issue. Anyone else?
2020 Retina 5K iMac
Processor 3.6 GHz 10-Core Intel Core i9
Graphics AMD Radeon Pro 5700 8 GB
Memory 32 GB 2667 MHz DDR4
macOS Sonoma 14.2
PS Version is 25.1.0
LRC Version 13.0.1 Camera Raw 16.0
ACR Version is 16.0.1.1683
I cannot stress enough though that I successfully masked photos in the same gallery I am working on since I updated all Adobe products and it only because an issue with the oS update.

Unfortunately, that's a sad reality of updating/upgrading the apps and OS. If Adobe can duplicate it, they will put it on the bug list but there is never any guarantee of when it might be fixed.
Regular reading of this forum before updating is a good idea. That's where you will see the issues users are having.

Thanks Ken but your response and the way you lowkey put the issue back on me brought absolutely nothing to my table. I'm super aware of the "sad reality" as I clearly stated I just went through 8 months of a previous issue, but I am also not just going to sit back and act like we all have all the time in the world to wait until things are fixed. Also - I am clearly aware that this forum is where we go to see what other issues users are having - I made this post to see if there was anyone else having my same issue yet.
