When I use the mask function, it is not identifying the subject and consistently says there is no sky.  Anyone else having this problem?

Please post your System Information as Lightroom Classic (LrC) reports it. In LrC click on Help, then System Info, then Copy. Paste that information into a reply. Please present all information from first line down to and including Plug-in Info. Info after Plug-in info can be cut as that is just so much dead space to us non-Techs.

Mostly interested in the LrC version, your OS and OS version, and your GPU info. As LrC reports it.

Example: /I deleated my example to eliminate clutter, as author has posted requested info.

So, any AMD users in the community? AMD driver pages are alien to me, no where's as easy as visiting NVIDIA.

Is the above driver up to date?

Is the above driver known to have issues?

Does the GPU driver have nothing to do with the authors problem?

LATEST

"DirectX: AMD Radeon RX 6600 (31.0.12027.7000)"

There have been a couple of other recent reports about problems with that driver, and at least one has reported that updating to the most recent driver solved the problems:
